HSE

Manpower-hseThe primary objective of our HSE plan is to ensure effective control of health, safety and environmental issues for the duration of a project, with the intention of achieving zero incidents, injuries and losses over all associated activities

The overall HSE philosophy to be used on all projects will be as follows:

  • Comply with local & international HSE laws and regulations, and client HSE practices and procedures
  • Safeguard against, and actively promote prevention of pollution during all aspects of the project
  • Continually monitor, record and improve HSE performance
  • Provide resources, impart knowledge & promote culture to carry out HSE responsibilities by all personnel

Use "best practice" to minimize the impact of operational activities on health, safety and the environment where regulations or procedures do not apply.

Our target for HSE is to achieve ‘Zero-accidents’ and no Lost Time Incidents (LTI’s).

Al Hokook will provide HSE Safety officer(s) for our projects. The HSE Safety officer(s)ensure HSE policy and procedures are followed. Furthermore, Al Hokook HSE Safety officer(s) will make sure all SCW's act as defacto safety officers, required to report any unsafe or hazardous conditions to their Al Hokook Site Supervisor or HSE staff from Al Hokook. SCW's have the right to stop work whenever HSE violations are observed which could jeopardize the well being of personnel, equipment or facilities.
